Just go - it's amazing! Coffee is roasted in-house and is organic! I had a pressed coffee and it was so smooth! The avocado smash was so delicious - loved the lettuce, pickled onion, and capers - very fun! Appreciated the sour dough bread option. Husband's chai tea latte was perfect! My daughter loved the dragon fruit raspberry smoothie and cinnamon raisin bagel. Patio is dog-friendly with gorgeous mountain and desert views. Heaters available. Staff was super attentive and friendly! Parking lot for easy parking. Huge selection of loose leaf tea as well! Highly recommend this place - you won't be disappointed!

A small coffee shop located in the Mariachi Plaza. My friend and I stopped in to talk about our upcoming trip together. Staff are nice here. We got hot tea and cherry muffins. The muffins were moist and delicious. The hot tea hit the spot on a very breezy day. Shared parking lot.
Very cute local coffee shop. They have a lot of great options including tea! I opted for a Spanish style latte, with lovely flavors of cinnamon & a hint of cayenne. Delicious! I also love that they are bike friendly & have bike racks outside the establishment.

When a friend suggested Carefree Coffee Roastery for a meeting spot on a recent Saturday morning, I looked it up and saw a lot of positive reviews. I was psyched to try it and it did not disappoint! Our party of six arrived a bit after 8:30am and placed our orders and then sat down on one of the outside picnic tables... We enjoyed our drinks (a flat white with oat milk for me) and eats (quiche of the day for me) and did some chatting. We also did a little art project and no one seemed to mind... It was a delicious and memorable morning. If you find yourself in the Carefree area, check this place out - it's a hidden gem for sure!
This is a cute little place in Cave Creek, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food. We ordered the avocado toast and the egg and Gouda cheese burrito with avocado, great food.
So, I initially went to another coffee shop in the Spanish village thinking it was this one...I was so disappointed with that one that I took the 5 minute (no straight path) walk from there to here to frequent this one, and I'm so glad I did! It's one of a few spots in the area where the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming (atleast during my stay in Carefree). My oat milk Cortado was delicious, and although my lox bagel was not the best I've ever had, it satisfied my craving. Grabbing a dragon fruit smoothie for my walk back was my best idea yet. Not too sweet and flavorfully fruity, I've been craving another since I left Carefree! The knitted banisters, and cozy intimate space were definitely an inviting change, and although it faces the parking lot, the covered outdoor seating is a perfect alternative given the cooling weather.
Everything here is utterly divine. So glad I have abandoned Starbucks. Favorite drink is a macchiato latte. Amazing. Even better when you stay there for drinks and breakfast.
To be fair my daughter and I only came in here to use the bathroom. Kaylee at the register was extremely helpful and friendly, and I bought a lemon bar to-go as well as 2 stickers! Had I a hunkering for coffee though, it'd be here. The good vibes were indeed contagious!
